Need an electrical warrant of fitness for your motorhome, caravan or boat?
Leave us your details and we'll be in touch to organise an inspection, by one of our qualified electrical inspectors, at a time that suits.
A current electrical warrant of fitness (or ewof) is required under the Electricity Act 1992 before you connect your vehicle to any power supply.
What is an eWOF?
An electrical warrant of fitness (or ewof) is a certification showing you and others that your connectable installation (i.e. the wiring inside your motorhome, caravan or boat) is electrically safe to use.
Do I need an eWOF?
Yes! It is a legal requirement under the Electricity Act 1992 that any connectable installation (i.e. the wiring inside your motorhome, caravan or boat) must be certified before being connected to a power supply (i.e. the electrical outlet at your campground or marina).
Who can issue a eWOF?
We can! (as we are licensed electrical inspectors registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board).
How does it work?
After making a booking enquiry, we'll contact you to arrange a suitable inspection date. One of our inspectors will arrive on-site and perform the inspection. If no problems are identified, you will be issued with a new eWOF certification.
